Kings Elliot's touching track "Dancing Alone" is a stunning surprise. From the very beginning it feels sad and intimate riding on piano that contains it's own groove and you get the feeling it might erupt into a commercial forward pop song but gladly it does not. Elliot daringly pushes her crushingly sad and broken vox way up front in the mix. The effect feels like a good friend or loved one confiding in you on the phone. Elliot possesses an amazing vocal aesthetic that spirals down, ascends into beautiful falsettos and soars with pretty pop backing vox embracing the song when it needs to. This is not, in the end a spartan declaration but a well produced pop ballad but the intimacy of the words and voice right in your ear make it something different. When the grand things happen with backing vox washing over like falling snow, there is a hyper sense of reality still bathed in sadness and I couldn't help but think of when Edwards Scissorhands makes snow and Winona Ryder's character dances in slow motion.
Press notes indicate as Kings Elliot: [Describing herself as a "sick puppy”, Kings has spent her life battling borderline personality disorder and anxiety. She uses her music as a means to explore her most personal thoughts and fears] I have been poking around on line and finding her other music and this Swiss-born London-based newcomer is a force to be reckoned with (as they say). A talented songwriter with a singular voice. She is on her way for bigger things.

Having racked up over a million streams from all over the world on debut single ‘I’m Getting Tired Of Me’, the Swiss-born London-based newcomer has already captured the hearts of scores of new listeners with her devastatingly human and heart-on-sleeve approach to music. Early support from Billboard, CLASH, Wonderland, The Line Of Best Fit and inclusions on heavy-hitting Spotify and Apple Music playlists earmarked Kings Elliot as one to watch in 2021, something that is further cemented by mesmeric new single 'Dancing Alone'. (15th January 2021)
Describing herself as a "sick puppy”, Kings has spent her life battling borderline personality disorder and anxiety. She uses her music as a means to explore her most personal thoughts and fears – and ‘Dancing Alone’ again comes directly from the heart.
It’s another bold statement from an artist not only unafraid to bare her soul, but who sees it as an essential responsibility to let others know that they are not alone. Her beautiful but affirming debut single ‘I’m Getting Tired Of Me’ may have been born from her own anxiety and self destructive tendencies, but came with a message of hope.

Her honesty went as far to see her film a music video that documented one of her panic attacks, but only to let fans know that while what they’re feeling is real, there is always a path to better times. Panic attacks always pass.
Proving that strength and vulnerability can go hand in hand, Kings Elliot is here to let millions know that they are not alone.
