"I'll get through this with you my brother"
“It can feel like the foundation of one’s life disappears when a divorce shatters your family. In these situations the role and significance of sibling relationships become even more important. The song is an expression of gratitude to the brother who lends a hand to a sibling to carry him through the turmoil.” - Henri Piispanen
"Brother" begins with pretty synth taps that feel like Christmas. The vocal aesthetic is pretty too backed with a gritty punch in the back as shifting rhythms crash and burn around the musical narrative that becomes more angst ridden and ultimately sad. Amid the artful guitar expressions there are beautiful ascensions of sound and strength through love "it's always been just you and me" between siblings. Love the big musical lead break (3.47) that feels exquisitely cinematic.
The Official Video as directed by Juho Länsiharju takes the evocative, powerful journey about carrying the emotional weight of another to another epic level.
