"Polar Wander" and the accompanying Official Video by KOKO, the solo project of Costanza Delle Rose (the singer-songwriter / bassist of the dark Italian post punk outfit, Be Forest) is a lush and lovely synth pop diorama with deep poetic stirrings, illuminating revelations and a touchstone in the sky. Amid percolating dancy synths and Costanza's wide eyed adoring croon you feel sadness and longing and strength. The video is just lovely and fun as we see Rosita Mariella and Gianna T playing two frolicking seniors deeply in love.

KOKO as a solo project is a place for this talented artist to be her most divergent self. Costanza Delle Rose is best known for her involvement as singer/songwriter and bassist in the acclaimed dark Italian post-punk outfit, Be Forest, who released their latest album Knocturne in 2019, followed by extensive touring worldwide. After moving to London during a year of immense change, Costanza found fertile ground to bring to her new solo dream pop/new wave project KOKO to life, resulting in a deeply reflective expression of her most sincere self, with no filters to protect her.

KOKO is Costanza's soul exposed in the open — brave enough to experiment with sound and new lyrical approaches, and free to be fragile and vulnerable with her feelings.
