"I'm the last man on earth can't you see?"
You have surely heard the French / American duo Freedom Fry even if you don't know it. The husband and wife duo of French girl Marie Seyrat and American boy Bruce Driscoll have amassed a catalog of over 250 original songs and a few covers that have graced a lot of different properties besides air play on KEXP, ALT 98.7, KROQ, WXPN, SIRIUS XM, the BBC and more. Their diverse sound often built out of folk pop motifs swings wide. Their latest, "Mr. Nobody" featuring A-F-R-O steps right into the kind of dystopian folktronic cinema that is easy to vibe to. Like an amalgam of Gorillaz, Space, Del The Funky Homosapien & Freedom Fry themselves and coupled with addictive Farfisa-esque 60's psych tones, a lopsided wagon wheel gallop, melancholy boy/girl vox and A-F-R-O delicious flow you want to swallow every hallucinogenic drop.
