Garbanotas and the heavy psych and funky rock eruptions of "Sailing"

The blisteringly dreamy "Sailing" by Baltic alt rockers Garbanotas dives deep into the multi-genre blend that this musically dense four piece brew up. The guitar rock hands are heavy here and while alt rock might be a great umbrella term for their sound they keep the style shifts overlapping while never straying completely from a heavy rock vibe. There are dips and splashes of funk rock, dreamy lounge punk celebrations, and sort of broad 70's broad prog pop rock swings too. The vocal aesthetic maybe slightly coated in a soft effect and often times graced with lovely harmonies is so utterly original and cuts through the heaviness like butter. LOVE the guitar sounds and the equally tethered bass and drum moves that push and pull from the center. The outro is tenderly cool and surprising.

Garbanotas are a long-haired guitar band bringing songs, chords and love to audiences all over Europe since 2012.
