"here in the clear, you're in the clear now..."
Today's Playlist entitled "The Terrorist, God Is, and the First & Last Queen of Hawaii" is an eclectic collection of songs beginning with Jessamyn Orchard's striking, raw open wound candor of "The Terrorist only to breathe and be taken away on an escapist ride by Sleepy Gaucho. This kind of ying yang approach is all over this playlist but maybe one thing that all these songs have in common is a rustic, down to earth approach throughout. Now I would not say this is a folk indie playlist but it might sway that way as a core underpinning. On top of that stylistic framework there are aspects of psychedelia, avant pop, emo, conscious hip hop-ness, blues, gardenrock and indie rock. I hope you dig it. I do.
