The beautifully raw textured propulsions of "Moon Song" (LIVE) by London's / Berlin's LOLA, captures us in wonderful ways. The layers of sounds, gentle yet tightly wound, push at you and each other creating lovely tensions. Sonically rich and floating on the bass and guitar creating a dramatic engine of notes rather than chords woven as a sonic tapestry for a wondering, maybe aloof vocal countenance. AND I felt this kind of magnetic amalgam of artists like No Order and Nico (or thereabouts). Truly special and love that this is a live performance.
