The runaway, youthful punchy alt rock cool of "Repeat Mode" by brothers duo from Seoul - South Korea, The Grapes, sucks you into their vibe almost instantly. Their blended sound and darkly swoony vocal countenance (way beyond their years) smartly blends post punk, power pop and indie rock into a sound that encompasses a wide glittery swathe of abandon from the OG punk rock of bands like The Modern Lovers and The Damned or Magazine and aughts swanky rock magnetism of bands like The Strokes, She Wants Revenge and Interpol. In the end, "Repeat Mode" slams and swings, pops and snaps in deeply cool ways.

[“Repeat Mode” is a song about being unable to escape an obsession with someone who keeps repeating in your head, even as the relationship itself begins to fade. The title uses “repeat mode” as a metaphor for being stuck in that cycle, unable to fully let go. With honest lyrics and raw energy, the song captures the anxiety and longing that continue underneath the surface.]
It is the first pre-release single from the brother's upcoming second EP "farmoretrivial", the follow up to the duo's / band's debut EP "trivial" that dropped in April 2026 which included tracks like "Summertime" and "Flying Jacket.
