Music producer, composer, musician Hajime Uchiyama paints with many brushes. On the track Before I Know he crafts extensively with fellow music producer and composer, Kotaro Saito and vocalist Axel Mansoor.
Kotaro Saito
The track feels delicate and exquisitely tactile. It also move percussively on a jazzy bass line and on Mansoor's vocal lines that are mirrored by other sounds. Falling downbeats shift and a jammy drum beat lands squarely on top of it all. There is a lot of counter positioning musically speaking and the total of the all the parts are so beautiful. Bravo.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:
Hajime Uchiyama invited musicians from around the world to Los Angeles, and gathered them at the famous Sunset Sound Recorders studio. This track features vocals from Axel Mansoor, a talented singer who ranked in the top 5 on the Viral 50 US, and Kotaro Saito, achieved the No. 1 spot on Viral 50, Japan. The song gently envelopes and softens the white mist formed by breath in the early morning, under a starlit sky, and the tense winter atmosphere.
