"Loud indie rock from Minneapolis, Minnesota"
You probably don't actually have a seat belt on the chair you are sitting on and maybe you are not even sitting anyway. If you are standing, well, just hold onto something solid like that strap or rail on your cities public transportation. Now, it's not that Why Not crafts the loudest songs ever, no it is the way that loud, raucous, music comes at you. Listen to their latest (third single) called Dust as produced, mixed and mastered by Caleb Hinz (Samia, The Greeting Committee, Hippo Campus) and you will see what I mean.
Why Not is a three piece (Joshua MacGregor, Isaac Dell and Henry Breen) indie rock outfit out of Minneapolis, Minnesota and seconds in on Dust, the guitar driven rock is jamming, kudos to the drum work which is jagged and fill ridden and intertwined with the stellar heavy, heavy bass lines. The song sound is caustic, acidic with the lead vox adding to the distortion. Before you know it, it is over like a post punk tornado blew by.
