"separate my thoughts from my behavior"
New Orleans' birthed alt rock outfit, The Aberdeen, now haunt the streets and venues in NYC and their latest track Aurelia bends and blends genres. From the onset, you feel sort of sock hop punk affectations (like the Buttertones) but just a few measures later it feels more indie pop forward but with tightly wound (progressive) rock moves. The lead vox are both crooning and art rock punchy. The song is rad, the musicality top notch and the indie pop tones do not overstep the alternative rock. It is a perfect blend.

THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM - PRESS NOTES:
Formed by a few college seniors in New Orleans, The Aberdeen has spent since been honing their brand of reverb-driven Alternative Rock. Lead by thoughtful, charged lyricism and backed by a tight rhythm section, The Aberdeen has a sound that seamlessly delineates rock subgenres to create songs that resonate with all listeners. Showcasing an energetic live act and with new music coming soon, The Aberdeen looks to build momentum in the NYC circuit in 2020.
