The story of The Peawees may vary depending on who you talk to and any variations in the story would be no different than if you asked 10 different people about the Ramones. The uncontested fact is that three teenagers started the punk cored outfit in La Spezia, Italy in 1995 and they have become an iconic rock & roll, punk rock force from that part of the world ever since. The track Bleeding For You from the "Walking the Walk" album (originally from 2007) was remastered and re-released in 2018 and for 2020, a special limited edition in blue vinyl is available for pre-order exclusively on the Wild Honey Records store: https://wildhoneyrecords.bandcamp.com/album/walking-the-walk-reissue
AND guess what? A new album is in the works for 2020-
Current line-up consists of Hervé Peroncini (also Nikki Corvette and The Romeos), Carlo Landini, Fabio Clemente and Tommy Gonzalez (ex Nick Curran and the Lowlifes, ex Bulemics).
Hervé Peroncini, the guitarist with THAT voice, is still a Peawee. He is the last of the original three. Drummer, Livio Montarese left the band in 1999 and original Bassist, Riccardo La Lomia left in 2012.
Bleeding For You has the band's signature kind of bull whip cracking feel, Spaghetti Western punk meets Surf Punk and Peroncini's razor blade gravel vox.
