"you're so fill of it"
Quit Bringing Me Down by Birmingham, Alabama’s Lady Legs is a thumper of a post punk track. The tom tom beat, the supercharged cadence, vast guitars and vox with a strident wail and sort of proto punk snarl feels instantly catchy. On one had if feels like Americana blue collar rock and on the other kind of Brit rockish too. I am feeling a kind of Japandroids, Diarrhea Planet, Pixies, and Clash collision here. Yeah, I know that might sound odd but it sounds wonderful to me.

Birmingham, Alabama’s Lady Legs return with a deceivingly laid back new single that is full of southern charm and reverb drenched slide guitars. On the heels of their critically acclaimed debut Holy Heatwave, Off Days finds this young band widening the scope and burning through new sonic territory. The first single “Patience” might be one the more laid back moments of the album, but it’s also the perfect set up for the wild emotional and musical ride that’s about to ensue.
