"time travel feels the best the first time..."
The plucky bass in German based Partefacts' new wave / new disco-licious "Time Travel" is infused with a sinewy funk tone but also feels uncannily like late 70's early new wave, back when those two words were used to market bands that might of been called punk or even proto punk. Couple the powerful bass push of "Time Travel" with Partefact's overall aesthetic and that potent proto punk, electro punk, avant garde late tones, vocals and all, they do seem to be infused with that 70's / 80's laboratory bred musical DNA. They feel (to me) like an amalgam of bands like Talking Heads, Kraftwerk, Human Sexual Response and Propaganda.
“Time Travel” is the first single by Partefacts, from their forthcoming debut EP "Lifestyle Blob".

Partefacts are the spray of confetti on your rug, the balloons lingering half-way up your wall. They are also a band featuring Canadian multi-instrumentalist Christa Belle and Australian producers Lani Bagley and Craig Schuftan of Ducks!. Born in Berlin after a big night out morphed into a day of instrument swapping and studio experimentation, Partefacts’ music is a psychedelic collage of noisy synths, cosmic disco and interlocking vocals, arranged and rearranged until it satisfies the trio’s lust for pop.
