The jammy house party, surfy psychedelia of "Ghostwriter" by Ghost Party, "a psych/garage rock/cosmic country/singer-songwriter quartet from Houston Texas under the spooky-surfy-fuzzed out guidance of McCullough Ferguson", slaps hard while burning nostalgic incense like a collision of 60's Haight-Ashbury colors and the kind of early naughts retro beach goth / surf punk tropicalia that seemed to reburn across venues all across the country and still burns. And why not? The sound is truly infectious, gets your feet moving and reaching out to make forever friends. 

I am digging Ferguson's dip into vintage Farfisa-esque organ sounds, the hard backbeats, mix of stoner rock, porch blues, surfy psych garage rock sung up in such a chill way.
