"my body at ease"
Rundown Kreeps' ska punk groovy and explosive Yellow Truck has a sound steeped in Cali coastal and inner city vibrations all at once. The three piece L.A. based ska / pop punkabilly band comprised of Richard Lamas (guitar / vox), Steven Lamas (drums, vox) and Alan Escobar (bass, vox) bring to mind thoughts of Sublime and the Descendents but the boys site artists as diverse as Squirrel Nut Zippers, Cannibal Corpse, Social Distortion, Toy Dolls and Die Antwoord as some of their influences. What is for sure is Rundown Kreeps' incredibly tight sound (musically and vocally) is super engaging and fills this big fuzzy, jammy, ska punk hole out there in the musical ozone.
The band's sophomore album is set to release this year (2020). Yellow Truck was mastered by Roger Lima of Less Than Jake.
