"you told me I was perfect and for a second I believed it"
Worry Club is the musical project of Chase Walsh and the track In My Ear which, by the way, Walsh recorded completely in his college apartment in utter DIY fashion is, in the end, total ear candy if you like a chill vibe, sort of tropical punk undertones, aloof smart self deprecating lyrics, a spartan production with dream pop sensibilities and the talent for creating catchy, yet somehow sad melodies that bounce off the walls. Oh, and the video is cool as well.
“I really tried to portray how big of a piece of shit I feel like when someone confesses their feeling towards me.” Walsh said, “The song is really about how compliments can, at times, be more toxic than insults or criticism.”

Bedroom Pop outfit, Worry Club, has released a full EP (Chase's hands) along with many other singles. Lead artist, Chase Walsh wrote and recorded these tracks in his small college apartment. Their sound brings together dreamy guitar riffs, punchy drums, and self deprecating lyrical content to make a unique indie-punk sound. Recorded with just a laptop, interface, several instruments, and only three microphones the band produces a professional quality sound in tried and true DIY fashion.
Worry Club takes heavy influences from Say Anything, The Maine, Modern Baseball, and Yeek bringing together various styles from each in this new single, In My Ear. The band has a dark take on college relationships and a dysmorphic view of oneself.
